Addendum directly concerning Covid-19

Due to COVID19 we have had to make some adjustments to the Swim Paws experience that you have all come to know. We feel these changes are essential in keeping everyone safe in the current climate. As such, we respectfully ask that both new and existing customers please familiarise themselves with the new measures in place before attending appointments.

Our opening times and days will be changing to reflect the circumstances and we ask customers who have existing block bookings to get in touch to organise new appointments.  Currently we intend opening back up from the 22nd June 2020 on a part-time basis, 9.30am - 1.30pm, Mon - Fri.

Due to the possibility of lockdown being implemented again, we will only be opening the bookings up a few weeks in advance. We will however keep an eye on the situation and should we feel confident, we will open all bookings again as well as return to full opening hours.

Therefore -

Bookings must be made online and paid for via our online payment facility. This is to avoid nonessential close contact. If you run into any issues with this, please get in touch.

If you already hold a block booking with us or have previously paid in advance for a booking, we will need to book you in manually.  Please contact us ASAP so that we can get this done for you.

We ask that only one person attends the appointment.

We ask that customers do not bring more than 2 dogs at a time and that they be kept under control and on lead at all times.

We respectfully ask that customers wear masks and gloves where possible and adhere to the 2 metre social distancing guidelines.

Entry and exit will be made via our shutter doors. Please wait in your car to be invited in.

Customers are asked to put their dog in the bath, remove all harnesses, collars, leads etc and to secure them using the loop provided.

After the session when your dog has been bathed and dried, you will be invited to collect your dog from the bath and put any collars etc back on your dog.

We hope you understand the need for these new procedures and help us implement them.

Please check with your veterinary professional that swimming is an appropriate form of exercise with regards to the health and age of your dog.

Please also read our standard Terms & Conditions

Although every care is taken, all dogs attending do so entirely at their owner’s risk.

Please ensure your dog has not eaten for at least 2 hours prior to swimming.

Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions cannot use the facilities.

Please do not bring a bitch who is in season.

Please ensure that young puppies have completed their vaccinations before bringing them to Swim Paws.

Please keep your dog under control and on a lead at all times unless directed otherwise.

We reserve the right to refuse services to any animal at any time.

Please wear suitable footwear and take care as floors can become slippery.

We respectfully ask that any children must remain with an adult at all times due to health and safety and that they do not approach another customer’s dog.

Please ensure that your dog has toileted before entering the building and that it is disposed of properly. Defecation in the pool will result in an extra charge of £100 as draining, cleaning, decontaminating and re-filling the pool can take a substantial amount of time (up to 3 days) and will result in lost revenue.

Customers using the parking facilities at Swim Paws do so at their own risk. We accept no liability for loss or damage to property.
